Sanford Transfers
Sanford Airport (SFB) to your Universal Area Hotel
Flying into Orlando Sanford International (SFB) to stay near Universal? Sanford sits about 25 miles north of downtown Orlando, so the run south to the Universal area is around forty minutes. Pixie Rides meets you at baggage claim in your terminal and drives your group straight to your hotel door for one flat rate per vehicle — no shuttle stops at other properties, no surge pricing, no meter. Both SFB terminals are served.

Straight to your hotel door
We drive you to the door of your hotel in the Universal area — whether that is one of Universal's own on-site resorts or a hotel on International Drive nearby. The area is the one people know for Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure, Universal CityWalk and Epic Universe; whichever hotel you have booked, that is where the trip ends. Your driver helps with luggage and you walk straight to check-in.
Landing at Sanford
Sanford is a small airport, and that works in your favour on arrival — the walk from the gate to baggage claim is short and the kerb is close. Your driver waits for you at baggage claim in your terminal, holding a name sign. There are two terminals, and we meet you in the one you land in — tell us which when you book, along with your flight number, and that is where your driver will be.
Flight monitoring
We monitor your flight. If your flight moves, we move your pickup. A person checks it against the airline. Nothing moves on its own. Every airport pickup includes 60 minutes of free wait time — and it starts when you land, not when you were due. Close to pickup, call us rather than wait for us to spot it — a change in the last few hours reaches us fastest from you.
Vehicles for every group size
Premium SUVs comfortably carry up to 6 passengers with luggage, and larger groups are quoted individually once we know the numbers — see our full fleet. Travelling with strollers and a week's worth of luggage? Tell us your group size and suitcase count and we'll match the right vehicle.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the drive from Sanford Airport to the Universal area?
About forty minutes, depending on your hotel and the traffic. Sanford is north of Orlando, so the drive is longer than it is from Orlando International.
Why does this cost more than a transfer from Orlando International?
Because it is a longer drive. Sanford is roughly 25 miles north of downtown Orlando, so the run to the Universal area is about forty minutes rather than about twenty-five. The SFB transfer is from $199 per vehicle; the same trip from MCO is from $119.
Which hotels count as the Universal area?
The area known for Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure, Universal CityWalk and Epic Universe — including Universal's own on-site resorts and the hotels along International Drive. We drive you to whichever one you have booked.
We're staying on International Drive — is that the same trip?
Yes. International Drive hotels sit in the same area we quote as Universal, at the same flat rate from $199 per vehicle from Sanford.
Is $199 per person or per vehicle?
Priced per vehicle, not per person. From $199 covers your whole group from Sanford to your hotel, and a round trip is from $378.
Where will my driver be when I land at SFB?
At baggage claim in your terminal, holding a name sign. Sanford has two terminals — Terminal A and Terminal B — so tell us which you land in when you book and that is where your driver will be waiting.
My flight is delayed — do I need to rebook?
No.
Can you collect us from our hotel for the trip back to SFB?
Yes — add the return leg when you book your arrival. Round trips save 5%. We'll be at your hotel on departure day.
